Monthly New Patient Informational Seminars

An introduction to our program begins with attendance at our Informational Seminar.  Dr. Machado will discuss the recommended procedures available and the process for patients considering weight loss surgery.  Seminars are free and patients as well as family and support persons are welcome.

Informational Meetings are from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, located at:
6555 Coyle Avenue suite #150
Carmichael, CA 95608.

The seminar is located in the Mercy Physicians Plaza, first floor in Lukens Auditorium, Suite 150.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Machado will personally answer your questions and you will be given information on how to proceed with our program.

Monthly Support Group Meetings

The following is the schedule for our support group and informational meetings.  All current patients of Sacramento Bariatric are welcome to attend. The support group meets from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Support groups are educationally based for the postoperative needs of both gastric bypass and Lap-band patients. Support groups are coordinated by our physician assistant, Kylie Nuckols, and cover such topics as nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modification, plastic surgery, and interpersonal relationships after bariatric surgery.  Support group agendas and potential outings or activities will be announced in detail monthly on the private Bulletin Board.
